What is At-Large?

"At-Large" is the name for the community of individual Internet users who participate in the policy development work of ICANN. Currently, over 190 groups in 75 countries and regions representing the views of individual Internet users are active throughout the world. You can learn more about the community and its activities on this website, as well as how to join and participate in building the future of the worldwide Domain Name System (DNS) and other unique identifiers that every single user of the Internet relies on every time they go online.

  


 


 Questions & Answers Wiki Workspace Now Open - Interacting with the Final Candidates of the ICANN Board Director Selected by the At-Large Community 

As recently announcedAlan GreenbergOpens a new window and Leon SanchezOpens a new window have been selected as the Final Slate of Candidates ("Candidates") for the ICANN Board Director selected by the At-Large Community. 

To help the At-Large Community members to learn more about the background, views, and positions of the Candidates and to help the electorate membersOpens a new window to decide on their votes in the final election (starts on 21 Feb 2017, view timelineOpens a new window), the Board Member Selection Process Committee (BMSPC) have decided to organize the following interaction activities after soliciting feedback across the community: 

  1. An At-Large Community wide teleconference where Candidates introduce themselves and answer questions from members.
  2. An interactive wiki workspaceOpens a new window for At-Large members to ask questions to the Final Slate of Candidates and for the Candidates to answer.
