Election

  • NARALO  election commenced on May 14th 
  • NARALO Election acclaimed   Chair   Eduardo Diaz and Secretariat  Glenn McKnight
  • Unaffiliated voted for  Alan Greenberg as the rep
  • NARALO extended to May 30  for  ALAC and NOMCOM ballots
  • NARALO election issues 
    1. One ballot sent only in many cases
    2. Ballots were addressed DEAR ALAN
    3. Some Unaffiliated members got a ballot too
    4. No plan B for staff to check the number of voters outstanding

Education Committee  Report

  • We have not met as a group.
  • Through mailing-list it has been asked for topics with possible speaker to be submitted. We have been emphasizing that the topics should be intimately related to ICANN Policy. For the October meeting Jonathan Zuck will present an overview of the 'Initial Report on the New gTLD Subsequent Procedures Policy Development Process (Overarching Issues & Work Tracks 1-4)' and comments submitted by ALAC.
