11:49:44 From Claudia Ruiz : Welcome to the At-Large Capacity Building WG Webinars Team Call
11:53:26 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr : :-)
12:01:08 From Heidi Ullrich : Welcome, All.
12:02:10 From Adam Peake : Apologies, late arrival
12:05:56 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr : it is a matter of fitness for purpose as well as meeting our COmmunities expectations
12:06:57 From Gisella Gruber : Zoom webinar vs Zoom Meeting; https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115005474943-Meeting-and-Webinar-Comparison
12:09:17 From Gisella Gruber : Again, template in progress
12:13:21 From Heidi Ullrich : Should the webinars be at the same time? I.e., 20:00 UTC?
12:14:20 From Gisella Gruber : 1900 UTC = 3am KL and 5am Sydney
12:14:33 From Gisella Gruber : We used 20UTC as last time Alan was not available
12:15:11 From Heidi Ullrich : Will these calls set a rotating time ?
12:15:37 From Maureen Hilyard (ALAC) : I like 1900utc 1300 is 3am for me
12:15:48 From Maureen Hilyard (ALAC) : I don't do 1300 meetings any more
12:15:58 From Alberto Soto : That time 20:00 or close, is good for LAC, but it is not for the rest of the regions.
12:16:29 From Maureen Hilyard (ALAC) : 2000 is 10am for me
12:17:17 From Gisella Gruber : We use rotating times
12:17:26 From Gisella Gruber : Again, it does depend on the speakers
12:17:27 From Alberto Soto : Yes
12:17:53 From Alberto Soto : For me 19:00
12:18:04 From Maureen Hilyard (ALAC) : 1500 would be good for JZ as well,, Im sure
12:18:17 From Maureen Hilyard (ALAC) : good for me too
12:18:23 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr : SIGH
12:18:29 From Alberto Soto : Ok 15:00 too
12:18:32 From Maureen Hilyard (ALAC) : Oh I forgot about Australia !!
12:18:34 From Alfredo Calderon : 1500 UTC sounds good
12:18:45 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr : I'm used to it
12:20:29 From Heidi Ullrich : @Hadia, did you wish to reach out to all speakers for the upcoming webinars?
12:22:15 From Alfredo Calderon : @Hadia, I saw your short list of questions to present at the end of the webinar. Looks good.
12:28:24 From Alberto Soto : Ok. Thanks
12:29:51 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr : I agree @Alfredo
12:30:12 From Alberto Soto : +1 Alfredo,
12:32:16 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr : good idea @Heidi
12:32:49 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr : this can be more a poll actually @Alfredo Yes good idea
12:37:03 From Gisella Gruber : Reminder - this poll will be done live at the end of the webinar. It will be very challenging to collate all the email addresses of the participants as we are sending the invitation out to ALL groups
12:37:26 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr : It need not be associated WITH webinars at all IMO
12:37:40 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr : topics can be extra to that process
12:38:30 From Alfredo Calderon : In other word use polling and no open ended questions.
12:43:16 From Gisella Gruber : So JZ just needs to know about the quiz feature - either during the presentation or at the end
12:43:57 From Gisella Gruber : We usually include that in the invitation to the speaker - will send through to you
12:44:11 From Heidi Ullrich : and send the quiz questions/answers
12:44:15 From Gisella Gruber : That may have been the ‘template’ / guidelines.
12:47:45 From Heidi Ullrich : We may ask Glenn to present a mailcard with the topic and the photos of the presenters with participation details.
12:48:17 From Heidi Ullrich : We may wish to highlight that they are part of the At-Large Capacity Building Webinar series
12:49:06 From Heidi Ullrich : A template slide could be produced and then used to promote the webinar
12:49:19 From Heidi Ullrich : In SM , etc
12:50:04 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr : I put my hand down
12:50:12 From Alfredo Calderon : @Heidi, let’s ask @Glenn and see what he can come up with.
12:50:57 From Heidi Ullrich : each template should follow the same tamplate
12:51:20 From Heidi Ullrich : I would suggest the announcements be sent to the mailing lists - including the ATLAS III Participants list
12:51:33 From Heidi Ullrich : So the ambassadors can distribute them to their networks
12:51:50 From Hadia Elminiawi : makes sense Heidi
12:52:33 From Heidi Ullrich : and also the SC on O/E should be promote them
12:52:52 From Heidi Ullrich : As these webinars are a key part of any virtual O/E strategy
12:53:59 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr : OK I have switched my audio out to my next call now I will stay here in the room as long as possible but back to back meetings are an issue
12:54:05 From Gisella Gruber : Invitation sent to all the SO AC Staff Support leads as well as Fellows and Next Gen
12:54:18 From Gisella Gruber : Adam is also on the call so hopefully he can assist with the GSE push out
12:54:38 From Heidi Ullrich : +1 Gisella
12:54:54 From Adam Peake : Yes, happy to do that
12:55:20 From Evin Erdoğdu : Great, will do @Hadia
12:55:29 From Alfredo Calderon : We just need to avoid discouraging the participants because they find it is two advanced for them and the answer to a couple of questions lean towards audience that know about the topic to a higher level. So we need to encourage speakers to give a short five-minute background before diving to a topic that might discourage future participation.
12:58:27 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr : As I co-Chair the following call I need to leave now to get into that zoom room Sorry and Bye
12:59:13 From Gisella Gruber : I have to leave the meeting as well as have a meeting at 20:00 UTC - thank you all and will be emailing shortly! Especially templates
12:59:27 From Gisella Gruber : Timing is good for me and no conflicts for At-Large
12:59:32 From Heidi Ullrich : 19:00 UTC is good
12:59:42 From Maureen Hilyard (ALAC) : Sorry I haven't been participating as actively in this call, but I have been listening in, as I respond to emails. And some good discussion and decisions made.
12:59:52 From Alberto Soto : Thanks, bye bye!
12:59:59 From Heidi Ullrich : Actio items are at: https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/Action+items%3A+2020-04-16+At-Large+Capacity+Building+WG+Webinars+Team+Call
