Alberto Soto -IIISI:It is an excellent video...

Terri Agnew:Spanish Channel has been fixed, please let us know if you have any further issues hearing the webinar

  Alberto Soto -IIISI:@Terri, thanks!

Jose Arce:something that is important for volunteers is to see (and leaders should try to show) the real impact of their work. This is quite difficult in our AC, because we only can give advices, and the real impact never come direct or is visible. this is a very imporntat challenge

Glenn McKnight:Here is an example of  APRALO short  video.  You can see the emotional intelligence of the members . It was  clear that the group working cooperatively and had alot of fun doing the 10-12 versions of the video.   The group has cultural differences but they share a common value

  Glenn McKnight:https://youtu.be/dIHUYvLNAiQ?list=PLHeYfhcpf4QTZ6R9ydm8vdhV_hDktK4uP

Amal Al-saqqaf , ISOC-Yemen:+1 Jose ,but I think the impact you talk about is the motivation which drives them to volunteer so it must be felt from inside from the beginning

  Heidi Ullrich:Go Siranush!

  Glenn McKnight:Here is  Siranush's  speech

  Glenn McKnight:https://youtu.be/R04IAxjmbQM?list=PLHeYfhcpf4QTZ6R9ydm8vdhV_hDktK4uP

  Bartlett Morgan:did audio just go?

Glenn McKnight:No  translation in Adobe Chat?

  Bartlett Morgan:ok... back now

  Alberto Soto -IIISI:@Glenn, no

Olivier Crepin-Leblond:Adobe audio dropped for 10 seconds

Nadira Alaraj:Thanks Olivier I thought it is from my end.

Glenn McKnight:No Plug-in for  translation in  Adobe for chat

Jose Arce:Amal, you are right but if you work for years and you donot see a real impact (For example if ALAC could measure the impact of their advice in the Boards decisions would be great) that is what volunteers want to see (At least me) sometimes internal motivation (is a feeling) is undermined by different situation (facts), and visible and important goals  will  come to reinforce that feel

Terri Agnew:audio is working on Adobe connect, Please let me know if a dial out on the telephone is needed

Diego Acosta Bastidas:VE Ricardo: gracias hermano. DAB ECU

Olivier Crepin-Leblond:Is there consensus on the yes or is this a borderline result?

Ricardo Holmquist - ISOC Venezuela:Sorry for leaving early

  Amal Al-saqqaf , ISOC-Yemen:Yes , sure.

Narine Khachatryan:Thank you, Cheryl, for the very interesting presentation, an excellent one! will it be available online?

Cheryl Langdon-Orr (CLO):NP  Ricardo thanls for attrending

Cheryl Langdon-Orr (CLO):yes it will be Narine

Glenn McKnight:Lots  of people sign up for  working groups  but  they don't  attend

Narine Khachatryan:very informative and useful! thank you

Nadira Alaraj:let us say Vounteers "on site" training have to have certain background.

Nadira Alaraj:Through their attendnace meeting they can develop and guided to develop their knwoeldge.

Terri Agnew:Audio, Adobe Connect and transcription will be available shortly on the agenda wiki page https://community.icann.org/x/CLVYAw

Remmy Nweke (@ITRealms):@Jose Arce You are very right.

Jose Arce:@ITRealms Thanks !!! we need that kind of thing to feel us useful

Remmy Nweke (@ITRealms):@Cheryl @Eduardo There is need for us to classify/categorise volunteers in ALS because many at times when volunteers are needed for instance to boost and encourage works of ALS at various regions, it seems there is lull, especially in developing countries with specifics in Africa. How do we tackle this so as to encourage ALS to continue doing their outreach work having ALAC at their back? And the worse is that nobody reverts to the call of such ALS from the secretariat.

  Terri Agnew:finding the line

Remmy Nweke (@ITRealms):@Terri, was that line for me

Terri Agnew:@Remmy, it was, we are dialing back out to you

Remmy Nweke (@ITRealms):Its ok, I am listening and here now. Thanks

Kaili Kan:Sorry for coming late, just ended a class and came late.

Remmy Nweke (@ITRealms):@Terri, please remind @Cheryl to respond to my question and comment earlier.
