video for newcomers using adobe connect
  Glenn McKnight: (08:42) Thanks
Dev Anand Teelucksingh: (08:43) Thanks Josh, will look at it after the
call and perhaps add to the wiki
Josh Baulch: (08:43) We are also interested in exploring other options
than Adobe Connect - to get away from Flash based application.  I am very

Glenn McKnight: (08:51) Jabber is used for  ARIN  meetings
Seun Ojedeji: (08:51) Hello as per my feature request. here is
something that staff tech may want to look at:
http://blogs.adobe.com/adobeconnect/2011/02/newxmppmultiuserchatpodavailab
lenow.html
Glenn McKnight: (08:51) Back to you  in one minute
Seun Ojedeji: (08:51) It basically allow xmpp porting into adobe
connect text stream
Maureen Hilyard: (08:52) I agree with Satish's suggestion about audio
books.. it is one of my visions for the new APRALO eBook training
programmes based on the webinars that APAC Hub has produced already,
where there is a combination of traditional ebook, audio book and
requests for learner responses that will be responded to by a learning
mentor from within the RALO so that we are actually engaging ALS learners
as part of the process.
Seun Ojedeji: (08:52) So a remote user would easily just connect to a
xmpp instance and maximize the little bandwidth
Glenn McKnight: (08:54) Yes  this  is the basis  for   JABBER
  Glenn McKnight: (08:55) @Maureen   I agree
Ariel Liang: (08:55) Beta At-Large Website:
https://newatlarge.icann.org/
Josh Baulch: (08:57) @ Seun- thanks.  We have tested this a few years
ago, and was not very successful, but we can test again to see if they
have made improvements.
Seun Ojedeji: (08:59) Oh...okay. Thanks for the feedback and do note
that I am available to work with you on this as well
Josh Baulch: (09:01) Great, thank you
Josh Baulch: (09:01) and great feedback Dev
Dev Anand Teelucksingh: (09:03) If anyone in the At-Large Community has
a tech issue or question, please ask the TTF
Seun Ojedeji: (09:03) Does slack feed into the AC chat space directly?
Seun Ojedeji: (09:03) that will be good to check out
  Allan Skuce: (09:03) thanks Dev.
  Glenn McKnight: (09:03) thanks
  Ariel Liang: (09:04) thanks all!
Gordon Chillcott: (09:04) Thanks, all.  See you at the November call.
