Avri Doria:I thinkn having searchable historical archives is part of accountability/transparency
Avri Doria:easily, assisted searchability
Avri Doria:yes, the only way to repeat having the same conversations over and over again is to point to where the sdiscussion was had. Then future conversations can start from where others ended.
Juan Manuel Rojas:Im sorry I was lost in time conversion
Nathalie Peregrine:Hello Juan, do you need a dial out?
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:http://dlvr.it/
Juan Manuel Rojas:No, Nathalie.. I am join it by AC
Nathalie Peregrine:ok thanks
Juan Manuel Rojas:Thanks.
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/Ideas+for+improving+the+organisation+of+content+on+At-Large+wiki
Avri Doria:For example: my current topic of the day. I am told that there were exptensive and complete discussions on At-Large suffreage on voting for the Board seat 15. How would I find all of the discussion.
Juan Manuel Rojas:I think that not only about how to use that tool. It is important to all communitty know how can used, to improve discussions..
Juan Manuel Rojas:Iĺl try
Juan Manuel Rojas:My OS doesnt permits me to speak on AC
Juan Manuel Rojas:ok
Avri Doria:i am sure i can find other xamples, but generally the point is, you never know what subject you are going to need to review the history for. No subject is ever closed, not should it be for in a dynamic organization, circumstances change and the right solution evolves over time. we nee to go back to review old stuff, and it needs to be organized as history.
Nathalie Peregrine:my pleasure Dev!
Juan Manuel Rojas:Like a kind of repository? @avri
Avri Doria:hisotrical archives are specil. so while redesigning fpr the needs of the day, there should also be design for history.
Juan Manuel Rojas:Bye to all.
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:I agree Avri
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:It is very hard when I got involved in 2009, to find the history of RALO decisions, and ALAC history on topics
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:take care all
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:btw, the inability of the AC room inability to support users running particular OSes to use their microphone should be noted in the TTF workspace ;-)
