Maureen Hilyard:I thnk that explaining the technical side of ICANN's role is an important aspect of their understanding of what ICANN does.. it may not required a long session

Maureen Hilyard:Even participating remotely is something that lots of ALSes may not know how they can use effectively.. so communicating how they can do this would be important even before the Summit

Carlos Dionisio Aguirre:Academy is a cross commun ity Wg is differente than Capacity Building WG tasks in ALAC sphere
Carlos Dionisio Aguirre:CBWG has the goal to achieve the specific ALS`s lack of knowledge. from my point of view
Carlos Dionisio Aguirre:CBWG is focused on ALS`s an At large community
Fatima Cambronero:in my opinion this WG on Capacity Building should be functional to the ICANN Academy and the online elearning platform, nourish of content to both. Just my opinion
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:it should be helpful to the Academy but I do not think that we will receive help from the Academy.

Maureen Hilyard:I agree with SAndra to use what is already available.. but we need to incorporate the inforrmation needs that ALSes indicated in the survey, but ask Sandra said, perhaps RALOs could also prioritise some information needs at RALO level
Carlos Dionisio Aguirre:if we are thinking in a pre summit online courses. I think we are wrong. I think we need a short videos giving explanations about different hot issues predeterminated by us, and then a face to face ratification in London, two o more days before Summit. all of that for a good and productive capacity building

Heidi Ullrich:Please note that the OLP was still in early production in BA. It will be improved through feedback.
Carlos Dionisio Aguirre:my 25 years experience on capacity building show me the correct way is what I said before. @fatima the content in OLP is good, if the content are short videos , better. but is mandatory to ratify the content in a face to face meeting previous LOndon Summit
