What worked well:

  • Quiz after each section engaged participation
  • Generally, went well

Areas for improvement:

  • Questions in the chat:
    • to be formatted the same as for general webinars with <Question>
    • how best to keep track and address them
    • possibly assign someone as question moderator
  • Protocole on webinar format to the speakers: presentations, quiz, duration etc.
  • Guidelines to participants on raise hands, questions and ...
  • Gisella Gruber(staff) to provide a summary of Zoom Webinar versus Zoom Meeting room features, at request of Alfredo to decide on best Zoom room to schedule on.
  • Gisella Gruber: to create a welcome slide (title, date & presenters), followed by house-keeping slide during introduction with guidelines on how to ask questions, when quiz will be held and to stay on for survey at the end.

Webinar Invitation to speakers:

  • Hadia Elminiawito invite the speakers, providing a brief note on what the webinar is about and what we expect out of it.
  • CB Webinar Group to write a few lines on each topic, which will be used to invite the speakers.

If and when speaker agrees to present and suggests other speakers outside of the Community (very beneficial to have an expert outside the Community), the speaker(s) send a short note to Hadia/Staff on the webinar, which will be used on the invitation to the Community.

CLO Suggestion to set up a template and check list on guidelines for the webinar.

  • Staff to draft a template and the Working Group to add to this.

NOTE from Joanna re speakers: Please note GSE could assist in seeking out speakers as well
. It might make sense to coordinate these efforts with the GSE
