Olivier Crepin-Leblond:The WG is looking at wasting 90% of its time looknig at the unlikely scenarios that have a 99% hance of never happening, turningi into a complicated set of procedures which wil fly out the window if we ever came to that point because lawsuits will fly in all directions and ICANN will be pretty much destroyed anyway.
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:What the CCWG is working on is completely Academical. ie. In Theory.
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:I do not think anyone realises the Sh*t ICANN will be in if the ommunity needs to fire the whole Board.

Alan Greenberg:Olivier, you are right. Many of the issues in the CCWG are driven by a small number of very vocal people. The only saving grace is the thresholds for many of the powers are very high.
