WSIS+20 -- Towards an intervention strategy
The 2025 review of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) implementation is a critical opportunity to reaffirm support for multistakeholder Internet Governance. At an ICANN76 public forum on the topic, participants agreed that participation from as many groups as possible was essential to ensure the future of the multistakeholder internet governance. However, specifics around how such participation might be organized has yet to be determined. This session would discuss the process underway and seek out ways various stakeholders could engage in a process that will move forward in a highly structured multilateral space.
