This page is the online home of efforts to create a Registrar Code of Practice / Registrar Best Practices Document.

This effort is born from a proposal of the ALAC, in its statement to the Board of ICANN in August 2007, that ICANN should publish an enumeration of registrant rights and responsibilities, and that there should be an obligation for ICANN accredited registrars to publish the document prominently on their websites and adhere to it.

This proposal has been included in a list of proposals for amendment of the RAA which were published on 18th June 2008 for public comment. As a consequence, members of the At-Large community are now beginning to work, amongst themselves and with other stakeholders, on creating such a document.

Below you will find resources from similar efforts around the world which will be linked to the page below as they become available.

If you wish to join this effort, you are most welcome - please join the mailing list of the Registrant Registrar Relations working group here: http://atlarge-lists.icann.org/mailman/listinfo/raa-wg_atlarge-lists.icann.org

does not exist. Perhaps someone whom is responsible can get this corrected properly?
Further it seems rather odd to say the least that the above mentioned link would even be published if it doesn't yet exist...

Why is raa-consultation@icann.org still refrenced when that general dilivery emsil address is no longer used?
