2020 EURALO NomCom Delegate Selection - Vacant Position

IMPORTANT: The process for posting nominations is as follows:

1) Nominations, including self-nominations must be made directly to their RALO’s mailing list; 

2) Nominations must be posted to the 2020 ALAC and RALO Elections, Selections and Appointments Workspace or by sending a note to At-Large staff. 

3) a brief statement explaining why they believe they are a suitable candidate and must also complete or update their Statement of Interest (see: At-Large New SOIs Workspace).

EURALO/ALAC NomCom Delegate Selection Timetable for the Vacant Positon*: 

• 16 November 2020 - Announcement of call for nominations and Nominee's Statement.

• 16 November – 22 November 2020 - Nomination period (nominations accepted for 5 working days/7 days total).

• 25 November 2020 - Deadline for nomination acceptances

• 26 November 2020 – 18:00 UTC Calls with the candidates.

• 27 November - 1 December 2020 – Online Vote by EURALO Members.

• Name (or Names) are sent to the ALAC Chair.

• ALAC process to elect the NomCom Member from EURALO.

• Newly elected NomCom Member from EURALO shall be seated on 7 December 2020.

NOTES ON NOMINATIONS 

1. All nominees are expected to submit a brief statement explaining why they believe they are a suitable candidate and must also complete or update their Statement of Interest (see: At-Large New SOIs Workspace).
