Gisella Gruber-White: Monday 28 November 2011 at 2100 UTC

CLO: NOTE  Alan Green berg is also an apology for today...

CLO: Greenberg *sigh* typo day  *agian*

Avri Doria: for me every day is a typo day

Cintra Sooknanan: Good day everyone

Cintra Sooknanan: waiting for the dial out but should hear you all shortly

CLO: Hi Cintra

Nathalie  Peregrine: We're dialling out to you now Cintra

Cintra Sooknanan: hello Cheryl and Thank you Nathalie

Dev Anand Teelucksingh: Hello, all

CLO: Hi Dev

Cintra Sooknanan: hi Dev Anand

Cintra Sooknanan: I'm on now, thanks again Gisella and Nathalie

Olivier Crepin-Leblond: 3 days? Are you serious Sebastien?

Olivier Crepin-Leblond: 1st Dec for a report?

Dev Anand Teelucksingh: perhaps have an extra-ordinary At-Large gTLD meeting 24-48 hours after the first consultation?

Sebastien: @Olvier No I am not serious but we have to take care of a lot of processes

Evan Leibovitch: Are we allowed to use the word "bullshit" in ICANN reports?

Sebastien: Free speach Evan

Olivier Crepin-Leblond: I believe a small tight team is good

Olivier Crepin-Leblond: I believe all should be ex-JAS

CLO: I spoke   AGAINST  bringing in new people  on this Evan   so  against  Fouad  joining

CLO: and I spoke as an AP rep on that

Evan Leibovitch: OK, asked ans answered

Evan Leibovitch: and

CLO: IF  your desperate for an AP rep  then I can do

Carlton Samuels: Hiya

Carlton Samuels: I'm wihtout ears here.

Carlton Samuels: Actually in Port-of-Spain ending a workshop

CLO: I agree distribution  can be iportant  a=so Am happy to do

Nathalie  Peregrine: Carlton, do you need a dial out?

CLO: I agree  small is good

Carlton Samuels: @Nathalie: No thnaks, I won't be able to speak

CLO: and  hell I will keep a watching brief  any way ;-)

Evan Leibovitch: Aside: Having Charyl incolved may make this a rarity wrt gender balance

Carlton Samuels: Doing a little multitasking..

CLO: I reain at your service  of course  you know  where to get me ;-)

Carlton Samuels: You've all seen my interest?

Olivier Crepin-Leblond: If more knowledge us required at the last minute you can always bring people in on demand

Carlton Samuels: Small tight team for JAS implementation work, no more than 5, IMO.

CLO: @OCL  yup  lean group is better

Evan Leibovitch: I'm available on-call, of course

Olivier Crepin-Leblond: there are 4 at the moment.

Carlton Samuels: I ceded my seat to Cintra

Cintra Sooknanan: Carlton we're just discussing the size of the group and yes your deferral to me and Evan's to Alan

Evan Leibovitch: +4  (+1 * 4)

Carlton Samuels: We will keep a 'watching brief'....and convene a JAS WG at some point to update..

Carlton Samuels: that way they feel connected.

Cintra Sooknanan: Avri Carlton is not connected on the call only on Adobe

Dev Anand Teelucksingh: it was me

Dev Anand Teelucksingh: The objection filing period is about 7 months

Dev Anand Teelucksingh: after applications are published for public comment

Olivier Crepin-Leblond: Regardless of how many we process, whether all, or the exception, the ALAC should avoid being bogged down by the process, especially if it involves use of At-Large staff cycles

Evan Leibovitch: Agreed. At very least there should be a subgroup with dedicated staff support to help do this.

Olivier Crepin-Leblond: I am concerned that many of our members might be asked by their community to object to specific new gTLDs and we need to find a hassle free way to find consensus on whether the ALAC goes ahead with it or not.

Evan Leibovitch: Arguably we could use the model of ALS acceptance at least partially as a model for the process flow

Dev Anand Teelucksingh: indeed, Evan - regional advice would be sent to ALAC

Cintra Sooknanan: with relation to timing of meetings why dont we look at suitable times for everyone.... JAS seemed to accomplish it

Cintra Sooknanan: it is just because there is more work in alternating and having to discuss the same issues twice

Yaovi Atohoun: I am disconnected. Requested to be called back

CLO: Can but try all of us  may have challenges from time to time  but also if rotation then some might be impossible for a few

Nathalie  Peregrine: Yaovi, we're dialling back to you

Evan Leibovitch: non-turner-uppers?

CLO: Yup   my word for the day perhaps ;-)

CLO: Thank Avri thanks all

Sebastien: thanks Avri and all

Cintra Sooknanan: thanks avri good meeting

Cintra Sooknanan: bye everyone

Dev Anand Teelucksingh: Thanks everyone, take care

Yaovi Atohoun: bye

CLO: Gisella  probaly need to sort out this WG's  rotaional times  BEFORE we do the doodle for the ones  Task Force  from earlier today

CLO: as this WG's  times may clash with some of our cjoices  and we might need to manage the  weekly / ratations carefully

CLO:  doable  but needs to be ordered carefully
