The positions to choose this year: Secretary Elect to fill a vacant position for the remaining period of time in 2021 (May 2021- October 2021), Secretary elect for the period AGM 2021-AGM 2023, ALAC Member and ALAC Delegate to the Nomcom Nomcom
The nomination process ( using the draft of the new Rules of Procedure - Article 23):
- A candidate can be nominated by any member of LACRALO, but the nominated candidates must be members of the ALSs located in the corresponding subregion. Observers cannot nominate or be nominated.
- In the event that there is no candidate available from the corresponding subregion, the ALSs of that subregion can nominate candidates from any other ALS in LACRALO. This exceptional case will not modify the table of rotation of positions in the following years.
- In cases where there is only one candidate, in any position, the candidate chosen by acclamation shall be considered elected without the need for voting.
