April 17th ALAC Meeting Report:-
Inaugural meeting #1 - At-Large Metrics (Sub Team) Working Group, Combined with ALAC ROP Review Working Group.
The first Metrics Working Group teleconference - INCLUSIVE of the Rules of Procedure Working Group - was held on Monday 16 April 2012 at 1800 UTC.

NOTE: It is scheduled that the Metrics Sub Team will next meet on on Monday 23 April 2012 at 1800 UTC (future times are planned to rotate), specifically to review history and usage of Metrics in At-Large, previous and prior data collection and any challenges, and initial outline of desired use and purpose of Metrics in ALAC and At-Large including scope and 'penetration through to Regions/RALOs, ALSes and Membership(s).
It was also discussed that the near term plans for this Sub Team will be to focus on metrics relevant to ALAC expectations and performance criteria, (including those
relating to ALSes; and to identify where 'harmonization' opportunity exists across or between the RALOs in their ALAC related rules and between themselves. The medium term tasks (post Prague) will continue to focus on these latter issues and to then become more RALO and ALS matter specific.
