11) Additional information (optional): | I've been deeply engaged in the process of establishment of the national Armenian IGF (ArmIGF) and contributed towards ensuring its multistakeholder and open process. Since its launch in 2015, ArmIGF held 6 successful meetings with high-level participants on panels. Alongside with the Armenian IGF, I'm an active participant of other national IGFs in the region of Eastern Europe, Central Asia such as Georgian, Belarus, Ukrainian, Central Asian IGFs. I've also been engaged with the regional IGF, namely with SEEDIG (South Eastern European Dialogue on Internet Governance), serving as a member of Executive Committee since its establishment in 2015 till 2020. One of the regional IGF participation was at the Central Asian IGF held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 2019 where I was invited to speak about APRALO at the Academic Engagement Day in the Westminster International University in Tashkent. This engagement was important as Central Asia is not represented in APRALO in any way. Since 2017, for 3 consecutive terms, I have been a UN appointee MAG member for the global IGF representing the civil society stakeholder. I was the initiator of establishing the Armenian School of Internet Governance (ArmSIG) by ISOC Armenia in 2017 and the first 2 editions of 5-day and 5-months free courses were dedicated to students from Universities across Armenia while the following 2 editions were open to all stakeholder group representatives. The 2020 edition was organized as a hybrid meeting, bringing together the participants from rural areas of the country. The 2021 edition was a face-to-face meeting organized for journalists. Working for ".am" ccTLD Registry and "․հայ" IDN ccTLD Registry, I’ve also been involved in various aspects of Domain Name registration and its policy making process. I'm a Board Vice Chair of ".am" TLD and the Board Chair for the ISOC Armenia Chapter and the Chapter Advisory Council (ChAC) delegate in the Internet Society. I also enjoy serving in the team of PIR Advisory Council since 2021. In 2019-2020 I was a Board Member of DotAsia organization, being nominated on behalf of the .am TLD. |
