Sylvia Herlein Leite:tks G! Hi all
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:the "+" icon at the bottom of the pdf allows you to zoom in/enlarge text
  Yaovi Atohoun:disconnected
Andrew Molivurae:What is the term of rule 5?
  Yaovi Atohoun:I am back
Yaovi Atohoun:disconnected again. I don't know why the link to Accra is so bad today. I will be listening using the computer
Gisella Gruber-White:@ Yaovi - so only on the computer now?
  Yaovi Atohoun:YEs  please
Darlene Thompson:We need to put the specific metrics in Rule 21.  I agree with Alan.
Darlene Thompson:Poor Cheryl.  Her computer doesn't like her and neither does her phone!
  Roosevelt King:not hearing is correct
  Roosevelt King:she is breaking up
  Andrew Molivurae:Cheryl keep breaking off
Heidi Ullrich 3:We are calling her mobile
Roosevelt King:she does not realise that she is not being heard
Darlene Thompson:Yes, that's how I heard her too, Alan
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:specific metrics for liasions could be put here. Rule 21 specifies requirements for ALAC members ; so metrics for liasions need to state wording to the effect that Liasons must meet the metrics requirements for ALAC members and also the following metrics........"
Andrew Molivurae:In support of Holly's comments
Yaovi Atohoun:No my hand is not up
Yaovi Atohoun:but it is along time I was back
  Fatimata:the line is so bad...
Gisella Gruber-White:Please say your names when speaking
  Darlene Thompson:Agree with Alan
Cintra Sooknanan:yes Fatima the call is difficult to follow
  Cintra Sooknanan:sorry Fatimata
  Andrew Molivurae:Better now
Fatimata:Yeah Cintra, I can heardly hear
  Darlene Thompson:MUCH better

  Gisella Gruber-White:ICANN Schedule: http://prague44.icann.org/node/31787
  Gisella Gruber-White:Wiki agenda: https://community.icann.org/x/7a7bAQ
Roosevelt King:would not mind assisting. add me as well
Cintra Sooknanan:1. Reporting to ALAC on all current developments within its remit and matters affecting public interest
Holly Raiche:Having been volunteered, I"m happy to work with Alan
  Darlene Thompson:I have
Cintra Sooknanan:2 Obtaining opinions and consensus from ALAC on points and current developments within their remit
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:Liasion metrics : * meet all attendance and participation requirements for ALAC members * filing monthly reports to the ALAC regarding the SC or WG activities he/she is liasion to
Cintra Sooknanan:would not limit it to just monthl, but monthly reports or as required/necessary
sergio salinas porto:@Alan you are talking about the alac member or liassones or both?
Cintra Sooknanan:@Sergio it is for Liaisons
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:well, change monthly reports to regular reports
Fatimata:@Cintra, I think Alan is extending it to ALAC members
Cintra Sooknanan:monthly is good but there may be times where reports must be given more often
  sergio salinas porto:@Cintra Tks!
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:so the change would be "- filing regular reports for ALAC meetings regarding the SC or WG activities he/she is liasion to"
  Yaovi Atohoun:can't hear
  Olivier Crepin-Leblond:it is very faint
Cintra Sooknanan:filing reports monthly or more frequently if required for ALAC meetings regarding the SC/WG activities
  Cintra Sooknanan:no
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:Tijani is saying first have ALAC members do things that ALAC members need to do and then get them to look at doing other things
  Yaovi Atohoun:no
Cintra Sooknanan:we cannot hear you Tijani
  sergio salinas porto:Agree to Tijiani
  Yaovi Atohoun:I agree with Tijani
  Fatimata:+1 Tijani
  Sylvia Herlein Leite:I can't listening
sergio salinas porto:I did not hear anything
  Jose Arce:me too
Yaovi Atohoun:I have a thought. Do we really need a liaison for a group where the leader is also from ALAC?I am not sure that my speaker will work
  Yaovi Atohoun:my mic
Roosevelt King:It is unreasonable  to ask them to hold leadership positions.
  sergio salinas porto:Now we're hearing
  Sylvia Herlein Leite:I',m in
Roosevelt King:how can this be guaranteed?
Gisella Gruber-White:@ Spanish Channel - apologies for the interpretation issues
  Jose Arce:Thanks Gisella :)
Roosevelt King:if you don't mean chair it has to be explicit what is meant by a leadership role; a definition.
  sergio salinas porto:thanks gisella !!!!
Yaovi Atohoun:it is like the system is repeating "yaovi" in the speakers
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:yes yaovi -- the system keep on calling your name :-)
  Fatimata:I am disconnectef
  Darlene Thompson:Agree with Cheryl
Gisella Gruber-White:Fatimata - we are calling you back
Heidi Ullrich:Adigo is dialing you back, Fatimata
Gisella Gruber-White:Cintra is back on the call
Yaovi Atohoun:Not sure my mic is working. I sent my contribution
  Fatimata:thanks G!
  Cintra Sooknanan:thanks
Yaovi Atohoun:please could you read from the Adobe?
  Yaovi Atohoun:Regarding Liaison
Roosevelt King:There should be some considertion  that liaison officers are voluntary.
  Hadja:can't read anything
Cintra Sooknanan: there is also chat in adobe, not just speaking on calls
Gisella Gruber-White:Fatimata is back on the call
Cintra Sooknanan:and what is the status with unofficial skype chats for WGs and at large?
Cintra Sooknanan:do we keep metrics on that?
  Fatimata:Yes Gisella
Yaovi Atohoun:The point also is that somebedy may be talking at everymeeting but not contributing really
  Cintra Sooknanan:+1 Yaovi
Darlene Thompson:Have we seen that happen, Yaovi?  Because I have seen much more of what Alan is refering to - people being in working groups and NEVER participating in any meaningful way.
Cintra Sooknanan:which goes to the substance of comments/contribution
  Hadja:+1 Yaovi
  Fatimata:i can hardly understand
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:quality is good here. Probably your line, Fatimata :-(
Fatimata:I am going to use the AC and see
Roosevelt King:Reporting could be the result of a vote.
Roosevelt King:what would the report look like?
Roosevelt King:a feedback form for members of working groups?
  Cintra Sooknanan:lol @ Darlene
sergio salinas porto:@Roosevelt I think it should be several points, voting, participation in calls, participation in physical meetings, participation in mailing lists...
  sergio salinas porto:tkanks @Darlene!
Roosevelt King:who would make the report? That is why I was suggesting a feedback form???
Roosevelt King:all the members of the working group
  Roosevelt King:not just the chair
Holly Raiche:My apologies everyone, but I have to leave. Alan, I look forward to working with you
Roosevelt King:@Sergio: If the issue is to face challenges being experienced by the Liaison, this should be stated.
  Roosevelt King:in the rules
Cintra Sooknanan:@Alan, there must be a level of transparency
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr:agree TOTALLY with Alan
Gisella Gruber-White:Holly had to leave the call
  Cheryl Langdon-Orr:lol Darlene
Dev Anand Teelucksingh:so the metrics should be publicly available to At-Large
Cintra Sooknanan:can the region recall a nomcom alac member?
  Cintra Sooknanan:@Alan ... exactly!!
Yaovi Atohoun:Sergio point is valid.  We should not leave the situation with a member not participating to himself
sergio salinas porto:@in the case of the comm name will be the one who decides
Yaovi Atohoun:We can send an alarm to the person and understand his problem if there is one.
sergio salinas porto:in the case of de RALOS is the RALOS who decides
  Roosevelt King:agree with Darlene there
Fatimata 2:Except for the nomcom elected members
Roosevelt King:who ever appoints the nomcom. Is there rules for recall of nomcom members?
Alan Greenberg:Roosevelt, currently no formal recall rules. For anyone. But we could write them if we wish.
Olivier Crepin-Leblond:NomCom selected members can be effectively  removed by the ALAC when it asks the NomCom to appoint a replacement member. But again, this will need to be described in the Rules of Procedure WG. When meeting withthe NomCom in Dakar, we were told that the NomCom appoints people but doesnot have any procedure to remove people, hence it would be our responsiblity to remove. That, of course might be one person's interpretation of NomCom rules
Cintra Sooknanan:I have to drop off the call
Darlene Thompson:Cheryl you are cutting out horribly
Cintra Sooknanan:take care everyone have a great day
  Cintra Sooknanan:bye bye
Alan Greenberg:CLO, we are hearing 1 word out of 20.
  Roosevelt King:bye
Darlene Thompson:cu Cintra - take care

  Sylvia Herlein Leite:bye-bye

Gisella Gruber-White:Apologies for the audio issues
  Jose Arce:Thanks All, bye
  Dev Anand Teelucksingh:take care all
sergio salinas porto:bye See you in Prague
