Javier Rúa-Jovet (ALAC): Good morning; I’m online.

Evin Erdogdu: Buenos dias Javier!

Javier Rúa-Jovet (ALAC): thx! same!

Cheryl Langdon-Orr (CLO - ALAC Liaison to the GNSO Council): Morning my friend...

Javier Rúa-Jovet (ALAC): Same, @CLO

 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- (10/23/2018 08:55) --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Javier Rúa-Jovet (ALAC): great comments @Ricardo.  I was surprised also by statements during opening, that seemed to show tension between multistakeholderism and other interests like speed, economics <COMMENT>

 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- (10/23/2018 09:02) --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Javier Rúa-Jovet (ALAC): <COMMENT> Seem to me that ICANN might have to start thinking with mandated representation systems, like parlaments.  That should be so at least in GNSO PDPs.  That would guarantee representativity of different stakeholder groups, including At-large people.

Javier Rúa-Jovet (ALAC): (Excuse typo)

 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- (10/23/2018 09:12) --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alfredo Calderon: <Comment> Use ICANN Learn to provide an alternative to develop the knowledge and skills to deal with multistakeholder model and important elements.<Comment>

Alfredo Calderon: <Comment>The Fellowship Program has and will continue improving and designing a trained incoming new active member to the community<comment>

Abdulkarim Oloyede: i agree with Morita on the training

 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- (10/23/2018 09:18) --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alfredo Calderon: <Comment> The biggest concern I have is that it needs to and interactive process of learning the skills needed. Thus, the instructional design of combining online modules/courses needs to have that interactive element which requires an online mentor to follow-up on the discussions and effectively guide participants.<Comment>

Olivier MJ Crépin-Leblond: I wished I had had the time to ask Betty, but when I just lauched ICANN learn at http://learn.icann.org/ I get the login page in Hindi or some non latin character set. Since there is not a single button to change the language on the ICNAN learn login page, I am not impressed.
