Selection of WG Chair
Eduardo was selected as the Chair of the LACRALO Showcase WG.
Summary of LACRALO Cartagena Showcase
Dev summarized the preparatory work for the LACRALO showcase in Cartagena.
Staff noted that the Town-Hall meeting that is planned to take place at Stanford university is separate from the showcase event.
Discuss Draft Program and Speakers
Evan: How about "The increase of public and non-commercial stakeholders in ICANN" as a topic. Also, does anybody have connections to Vint Cerf?
Heidi: Olivier could establish a contact with Vint if he is going to attend the SF meeting.
Olivier will sent Vint a note to ask whether he will attend the SF meeting.
Dev: If you are thinking about outside speakers, you might have to look at possible sponsors.
Darlene: The NARALO leaders, Eduardo, Eric, Annalisa and possibly Allan Skuce will be in SF.
Evan: Can Avri represent ISOC NY?
Joly: I will need to speak to her but Tom Loewenhaupt will probably be there.

Dev: If you are thinking about outside speakers you might have to look at possible sponsors.
Dev: We have reached out to ISOC for the LACRALO showcase.
Eduardo: We could also reach out to Google.
Chris: I know some people at Google
AI: Chris will talk to his contacts at Google to find out who to contact for sponsorship requests
AI: Staff will follow up with meetings whether there is budget for cocktails.
Logistics
Evan: We could have a map with the location of the NARALO ALSes.
Heidi: I have about NARALO 200 brochures in my office
Dev: The Showcase WG developed the LACRALO showcase website.
Eduardo: Who would like to take the lead on the NARALO showcase website?
AI: Staff will prepare a draft NARALO showcase website
Darlene: If we make it an evening event, we could have it around 5pm.
AI: Staff will get in touch with meetings whether it would be possible to have the Showcase at 600 pm.
AI: Staff will follow up with meetings to find the best possible venue.
Gareth, Darlene, Joly will assist Eduardo
Joly suggested Markus Kummer as another possible keynote speaker.
Next Meeting
AI: Staff will send out a Doodle to find a standing meeting time for this WG call.
AI: Darlene will collect the factsheets from the ALS members.
