- Nancy Lupiano, ICANN Meetings Team, has found an offsite venue for the Academy. This option is slightly cheaper, even including transportation.
- There is support for the offsite option.
- There is also support for an onsite option (more time, more participation).
- A sub-WG needs to be established after aproval by the Programme Committee.
- The issue of the English language at the Academy was raised.
- There was agreement on the dates of the program: 3 days before an ICANN meeting from Wed-Fri, with the option for an wrap up after the ICANN meeting
- The group should consider information drafted for the Fellowship Program.
- Outreach is to be started before the Costa Rica meeting.
AI - At-Large Staff, in conjunction with Filiz Yilmaz and Janice Douma-Lange, are to find the existing Fellowship Program materials and to send them to Sandra. The group is to then review the materials and to determine if they will be used by the program.
[1/26/12 1:46:11 PM] Matt Ashtiani: AI - Avri should submit her current proposal, which she initially submitted before Christmas 2011, to the WG subcommittee by 28-Jan-2012. The WG should agree on a draft curriculum by 3-Feb-2012. It should then be submitted to the rest of the WG by Feb-6-2012. The WG will then hold a webinar between the 27-Feb-2012 or 2-Mar-2012.
