The session will start with an introduction about various ccTLD governance models, and then we shall have testimonies from At-Large end users about their ccTLD governance models. It particularly seeks to explore the policy implications of the recently issued US patent # 10,979,384 for "Systems and methods for preserving privacy of a registrant in a Domain Name System (“DNS”)" awarded to Verisign and the level to which it might impact the further work of the EPDP.
