CPWG New gTLD Program Next Round (SubPro) Prioritization Sub Team Workspace

Objectives: 

1. This group will determine what community recommendations the ALAC should identify as critical path prior to opening the next round of New Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLDs). 

2. The group will review:

   1. What work will impact the gTLD Subsequent Procedures (SubPro) Policy Development Process Final Report implementation timeline [i.e., Closed Generics, Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs), Implementation Review Team (IRT), and pending recommendations by the ICANN Board (see ICANN76 Board scorecard)].

   2. A prioritization matrix of ALAC's advice items related to SubPro and DNS abuse in relation to four milestones:

      1. the IRT and the Applicant Guidebook,

      2. New applications, and

      3. Beginning of delegation

3. The output of this exercise will be factored into work where ALAC is actively participating, and where the ALAC can continue to make its voice heard. Any input will be reflected in the development of ALAC positions, and a possible ALAC communication that incorporates all agreed upon priorities. 

4. The group will provide updates to the CPWG on its progress as needed with the CPWG keeping the ALAC informed.
