  Mohamed EL Bashir:the 2 received proposals are satisactoy and complete as per ICG RFP and NTIA requirements and the NTIA , the only issues which required requesting clarifications from the 2 communities is the issue of IANA IP/IANA.org domain rights which was covered in the protocol proposal ( which propsoed IETF Trust to manage those ), the numbers proposal did not mentioned this issue

  Carlton Samuels:@Eduardo: Reasonable concern for sure. But the design team cannot start until they have a design brief for all the various pieces they are working on.

  Carlton Samuels:There could be multiple solutions out of design but what miust happen is tat every design will be presented for examination

  Cheryl Langdon-Orr:it is focussed upon operational outcomes that are agnostic to the model choosen  so that this work is substantailkly done before things like Legal advice  etc., comes into play

  Carlton Samuels:@OCL: My intuit is that the choice in the end shall be informed by the design output itself since they will respond to very specific points in any proposal

  Carlton Samuels:@Legal Advice:  In these matters you look for what the instructions to counsel outline and how they communicate. The engagement letter - in my part of the world it's called a brief - is carefully drafted. Not a whole helluva lot to cavil now until we see what is operationalize.

  Avri Doria (isoc-ny):one thought.  If we manage to create a community veto.  an the Board overrules it, that could be one enabler of a spill the board vote.  Another might be the refusal to go along with an IAP or IRP ruling.
