4 June 2018 - Announcement of call for nominations (Only current ALAC Members may make nominations. Nominations must be sent to the ALAC list.)
4 June 2018 - 18 June 2018 (23:59 UTC) - Nomination period (Messages accepting or declining nominations must be sent to the ALAC list no later than 7 days after the close of nominations.
If there is more than one candidate, there will be an opportunity during ICANN 62 to talk to the candidates and an election will be held during the meeting. The winner must receive votes from the majority of sitting ALAC Members. The ALAC RoP Section 17.2 details the election procedure and how to proceed in the case of a variety of unusual conditions.
2018 AGM [ ICANN 63 ] - The newly elected ALAC Chair shall be seated at the end of the 2018 AGM following the close of the Board Meeting on 25 October 2018.
