On 31 Jul 2023, the Chair of the ICANN Board of Directors, Tripti Sinha, posted a blog on the ICANN Board's acceptance of an Implementation Plan for the Next Round of New generic Top-Level Domains (gTLDs), suggesting that, bar any unexpected delays, the next application round for New gTLDs is targeted for Apr 2026.
You are invited to participate in the second Webinar of an ongoing series on the New generic Top-Level Domains (New gTLDs) Program, organized by the APRALO Policy Forum. In anticipation the launch of the next round of applications for New gTLDs, this webinar is aimed at facilitating understanding around the New gTLD Program from the At-Large perspective, including any remaining policy-related processes and implementation work to be undertaken from now up to the target launch date of Apr 2026.
