  1. This group will determine what community recommendations the ALAC should identify as a critical path prior to opening the next round of New Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLDs). 

  2. Work of this group will include reviewing (1) what community recommendations work will impact the gTLD Subsequent Procedures (SubPro) Policy Development Process Final Report implementation timeline (i.e., and (2) the 2021 ALAC’s advice items and compare them to the 38 SubPro recommendations deemed pending Closed Generics, IDNs, IRT, and pending recommendations by the ICANN Board (see ICANN76 Board scorecard); (2) the 2021 ALAC’s advice items. 

  3. The output of this exercise will determine what positions and/or steps the ALAC may advise the ICANN Board to takebe factored into work where ALAC is actively participating, and where the ALAC can continue to make its voice heard. Any input will be reflected in the development of ALAC positions. 

  4. The group will provide updates to the CPWG on its progress as needed.
