15:21:28 From Raymond Mamattah to Everyone:
    Welcome @Frank
15:22:57 From Marita Moll to Everyone:
Agree @JZ -- the survey was well done.
15:23:25 From Glenn McKnight - VSIG to Everyone:
NARALO revamped the ROP and incorporated the ALS mobilzation . This was passed already by an overwelming vote
15:25:18 From Glenn McKnight - VSIG to Everyone:
Do we not have captioning for this session?
15:25:22 From John McCormac - HosterStats.com to Everyone:
Defining fragmentation is even more difficult than defining DNS Abuse. People have different ideas about fragmentation and the session is worth replaying for anyone who missed it.
15:25:51 From Raymond Mamattah to Everyone:
    +1 John
15:26:01 From Dave Kissoondoyal - ALAC to Everyone:
    +1 John
15:26:07 From Gunela Astbrink to Everyone:
No captioning - I use the zoom captioning instead.
15:27:07 From Bill Jouris to Everyone:
+@ John (because +1 is not adequate)
15:27:13 From Glenn McKnight - VSIG to Everyone:
I found it and the box is pretty annoying for captioning

15:28:55 From DANIEL K. NANGHAKA to Everyone:

15:29:13 From DANIEL K. NANGHAKA to Everyone:
For the first time I had direct correlated questions
15:31:21 From Glenn McKnight - VSIG to Everyone:
Sorry, i thought the call by Jon was individual reports on sessions you attended?
15:31:41 From Glenn McKnight - VSIG to Everyone:
    maybe we changed topics.  ?
15:31:45 From Jonathan Zuck to Everyone:
    it was
15:34:46 From Bill Jouris to Everyone:
So true, Carols.  But the intention is that a (relatively) small group will use a TLD in their native language.  But the overwhelming majority of Internet use will remain in a few dozen TLDs already in place
15:35:02 From Bill Jouris to Everyone:
    Carols => Carlos
15:35:58 From Marita Moll to Everyone:
    hand up in chat
15:36:23 From John McCormac - HosterStats.com to Everyone:
DNS Abuse is an ongoing problem as its form keep changing. It won't be solved by the next round and it will have evolved by the time of the next round.
15:38:52 From Bill Jouris to Everyone:
I suspect that DNS abuse in the next round will revolve around TLDs which closely resemble other (including existing) TLDs.  Close, but somehow not flagged, and therefore blocked, as variants.
15:40:05 From John McCormac - HosterStats.com to Everyone:
@Bill Yep. The heavy discounting model enables a lot of problems. The problem is that some gTLDs are not commercially viable without it.
15:41:10 From Bill Jouris to Everyone:
@John, and other contracted parties can make a lot of money creating semi-conflicting TLDs.  And then selling "defensive registrations" to their existing customers.
15:41:29 From Naveed to Everyone:
    support the appointment
15:41:50 From DANIEL K. NANGHAKA to Everyone:
    This is perfectly fine
15:42:54 From Frank Anati to Everyone:
    Thanks @Raymond
15:43:32 From John McCormac - HosterStats.com to Everyone:
@Bill It will be an issue but the way that the discounting model builds a core of renewing domain names makes it attractive. Even with 95% deletion, that 5% adds up and those doms renew at full fee. The plural/singular issue caused confusion for the 2012 round.
