I appreciate the opportunity to train the participants by enabling the "apps" tab in the Zoom Client. So everbody can install the exclusively designed malware to it's own computer. Thanx!
15:16:25 From Marita Moll to Everyone:
I thought this was an excellent article summarizing the problem of DNS abuse:

15:17:35 From Marita Moll to Everyone:
It does debunk the suggestion that DNS abuse is not really a problem
15:17:46 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr - Internet Australia to Everyone:
Agreed @Marita  and Mason is in the audience here today perhaps we can lure him in to the conversation here today ;-)
15:19:46 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr - Internet Australia to Everyone:
    ell covered @Joanna!
15:19:51 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr - Internet Australia to Everyone:
    well
15:20:09 From Naveed Bin Rais to Everyone:
<COMMENT> How I see is that DNS Abuse has been accepted by the Community as a problem but we still have no or little consensus among the Community about its remit within ICANN. Different pats of communities see different perspective of DNS Abuse. A effort is needed to have a consensus on the Community-based definition of DNS Abuse before we can start mitigating the problem
15:20:20 From Lutz Donnerhacke to Everyone:
Or simply have a look at the ICANN Wiki https://icannwiki.org/DNS_Abuse

15:23:54 From Abdeldjalil Bachar Bong to Everyone:
    thanks Seun
15:29:55 From Carlos Dionisio Aguirre to Everyone:
    hand up in the room
15:30:15 From Alan Greenberg to Everyone:
Agree with Graeme. Spending time on details definitions is a distraction and would likely come back and bite us by locking us in too tightly.
15:32:03 From Naveed Bin Rais to Everyone:
Its not only about definition. It is about finding the remit of DNS Abuse problem with respect to the ICANN community. Not all problems related to DNS Abuse can be solved at ICANN or Community level
15:32:37 From Michele Neylon (Blacknight) to Everyone:
    +1 Naveed
15:32:51 From Seun S. Ojedeji to Everyone:
    Right @Naveed
15:32:54 From Michele Neylon (Blacknight) to Everyone:
just because there's something “bad” on the internet does not make it an ICANN problem
15:34:55 From Carlos Dionisio Aguirre to Everyone:
    fully agree @Naveed
15:35:07 From Amrita Choudhury to Everyone:
Agree Naveed not all issues are under ICANNs mandate. The objective here should be  to sensitise communities and local authorities to realise the issue and then  work on addressing them. Many local authorities may not even have information of the issues. Here ALSes can play a key role in building capacity even of non ICANN communities
15:35:27 From Volker Greimann (RRSG) to Everyone:
have you just invented SSL cerets?
15:35:47 From Alfredo Calderon (ICANN74 Mentor) to Everyone:
    https://www.istrust.org/
15:38:08 From Olivier MJ Crepin-Leblond to Everyone:
@Volker I don't think they have invented anything, but they are making SSL certificate info more easily available for end users to check. Simple free tools could reinforce the trust in the DNS for end users and help them avoid being scammed.
15:38:42 From Laura Margolis to Everyone:
Totally agree with you @Carlos, we should work more on that and know individual opinions on this topic
15:39:30 From Volker Greimann (RRSG) to Everyone:
@Olivier Agreed that enabling users to recognise abuse would go a long way
15:41:19 From Holly Raiche to Everyone:
I think we are talking about the tools AND education
15:41:37 From Cheryl Langdon-Orr - Internet Australia to Everyone:
Hand in Hand @Holly I agree
15:42:20 From Kong Diep to Everyone:
    @Holly I agree
15:42:50 From Russ Weinstein - ICANN Org to Everyone:
A good source of information of the many things ICANN org is doing in the space of combatting DNS abuse within ICANN’s remit and technical capabilities - https://www.icann.org/en/blogs/details/keep-up-to-date-with-icanns-dns-security-threat-mitigation-program-09-06-2022-en
15:44:05 From Joanna Kulesza to Everyone:
Indeed @Holly - education on the tools that are already available are also important.
15:44:06 From Dave Kissoondoyal - ALAC to Everyone:
    Thanks @Russ
15:54:16 From Claire Craig to Everyone:
LACRALO has also worked with ICANN org and organized 2 Webinars that treated with the issue of DNS Abuse at our April and May monthly meetings, because we saw this as an important topic for our region especially as the threats have increased during COVID

15:57:42 From Carlos Dionisio Aguirre to Everyone:
could be a good idea put netbeacon in spanish, french and many other languajes to do this tool global
15:58:41 From Sivasubramanian M to Everyone:
How does someone who knows phishing as phishing submit a complaint?
15:59:39 From Amrita Choudhury to Everyone:
<Comment> It may perhaps be good to create a repository of information for ALSes and Individual members on FAQs related to DNS Abuse such as how to report DNS Abuse, latest updates or other information, etc.. This repository may also help ALS members/ Individual members to reach out to small businesses or others in their community for capacity building.
16:01:03 From Harold Arcos to Everyone:
totally agreed @Amrita,, FAQs are so useful tool
16:01:05 From Carlos Dionisio Aguirre to Everyone:
capacity building is on my criteria the most important action to do
16:01:46 From Luc Seufer - Namespace to Everyone:
@Amrita you can look here https://rrsg.org/rrsg-cph-guidance-and-information/
16:02:25 From Hadia ElMiniawi to Everyone:
please type in your questions and comments
16:03:20 From Alfredo Calderon (ICANN74 Mentor) to Everyone:
My biggest concern is getting the word out to the end user.  We need to use these sessions to share the information outside the ICANN community. Here is where the RALO’s and the ALS’s have their work cutout for them.
16:04:13 From Sivaasubramanian M to Everyone:
For end users, rather than a form that expects them to have a) knowledge of the defined categories of abuse, b) how precisely the abuse being reported fits into a category, it would be ideal if the form design is along the lines of 1) tell us your name 2) authenticate your email 3) tell us what happened with a little space for a short 'story' ,  not quite 1,2,3 as mentioned here, but along these lines, so simple to fill in, with all the filtering tasks left to the Institute
