February 2014 – SSAC Liaison Report

1. SSAC MEETINGS. Attended SSAC Meeting on 14 February.
2. SSAC WORK PARTIES. I have been participating in two SSAC Work Parties and joined a new SSAC Work Party during the last reporting period:
- Identifier Abuse Metrics Work Party – I joined meeting of this work party on 31 January.
- DNS Abuse Work Party - I participated in the final review of this work party’s report prior to its publication. This work party is now concluded.
- Singapore Meeting Planning Work Party – I have volunteered to join this work party to plan the SSAC Program for Singapore but it has not yet scheduled its first meeting.
3. SSAC REPORTS. Two new SSAC Reports have been posted within the last week and can be found at http://www.icann.org/en/groups/ssac/documents:
- SAC064: SSAC Advisory on DNS "Search List" Processing, and
- SAC065: SSAC Advisory on DDOS Attacks Leveraging DNS Infrastructure
