- Darlene will attend the meetings remotely, but it is essential to have someone representing me on the ground.

OCL: There is nothing on the ROPs , but the doc regarding ALS certification also addresses de-certification. ALAC needs to contact the ALS. There needs to be a vote by the ALAC. 2/3 vote in favor of decertifying.
AI: OCL sent an email to organization and will put it to the ALAC that the ALS has disappeared.

Terms of the posts and schedule:
Darlene: Secretariat + Chair: 1 year posts and can be re-elected
ALAC post: 2 year and reelected once.
So, at this point: Eduardo's position ends at AGM 2013 and can be re-elected.
Section 11 NARALO ROPs. - call for SOIs for terms ALAC, Chair and Secretariat.
Section 12: Always used big pulse
SOIs: to be sent by 1 July. We have a WIKI up and for 1 month we can receive comments, after this. Big pulse = Elections are carried out.
NomCom: 2 Years. July.

Garth asked: How people feel about adding a VC post?
OCL: 3 ALAC + 2 Regional Leaders. But the region has leeway in term of who goes as Regional Leaders.
Garth brought up the idea of concept of "partial funding"? is this possible? for example flight and no hotel or vice versa.

Discussion on the fellowship and developed countries. Darlene mentioned the connection with earlier point on indigenous populations.
OCL: Mentioned that the current system of fellowship selection (excluding the developed countries) is not acceptable.

ALAC issues:
9.3 ATRT: OCL asked that the RALOs provide input, and there is no feedback at the moment. We need to give the report. Idea is to put recommendations to the board.
