  1. Takeaways and Action Items from this Team Call

    Per notes emailed to team members on 15 Nov 2021

    Takeaways

    • HTS is an important project/means to gain RALO feedback
    • Past HTS of 2017, 2019 may be useful but likely not given that HTS 2021 is designed to:-
      • firstly, emphasize consideration of ALAC areas of interest as guided by the "Operations-Policy-O&E structure";
      • secondly, take account of ICANN Org's new approach at community consultation on ICANN's 5-year strategic planning and budgeting processes/reporting; and
      • thirdly, take account of any other areas that are important or internal to APRALO
    • Important for At-Large to be able to monitor ICANN's strategic planning and budgeting activities; and for this the OFB-WG has proposed its top 5 priorities among the 15 operating priorities of ICANN
    • Given its importance:
      • Optimal tool(s) are needed to collect RALO feedback -- may need to rely on free/cost-effective tool (not just rely on GoogleForms) which could facilitate grading of answers by respondents
      • No need to rush completion within 2021, necessary to get it done properly

    Action Items

    • Justine to revisit project timeline
    • Team members to review HTS 2017 and 2019 and highlight outcomes of relevance for HTS 2021
    • Team members to suggest appropriate survey tools for consideration
