• Exercise for participants:
  
  • Brief introduction by members of ccNSO/GAC/GNSO/SSAC followed by small group discussions
  • Pick a Supporting Organization / Advisory Committee (SO/AC) (not ALAC) – give a brief talk on what it is, why it is important, its output

Agenda: Introduction to At-Large Advisory Committee

• ALAC - What ALAC is and how it differs from the At-Large community (see: ALAC Organizational Chart)
• What is an At-Large Structure (ALS) (See: Beginner's Guides to ALSes)
• What is a Regional At-Large Organisation (RALO) – the 5 RALOS: AFRALO, APRALO, EURALO, LACRALO, NARALO
• Who’s Who – The ALAC, the ALAC Leadership Team / the RALO Chairs
• Exercise for participants: 
  • Have attendees split into 5 groups – and each give a short presentation on one of the five RALOs

Agenda: ICANN Policy Issues and At-Large Community Policy Issues

• What is ICANN Policy and At-Large Community Policy Issues - Why End Users Should Care
• How is it developed ( See: GNSO Policy Development Process and ALAC Policy Advice Development)
• How can one participate in At-Large Policy Advice Development (See: At-Large Working Groups and At-Large Working Groups Briefing)
• ALAC policy statements (See the At-Large Policy Advice Development Page and the Summary of ALAC Policy Advice)
• Exercise for participants: 
  • Divide into 4-5 teams – each team to pick an ALAC policy issue and explain what it is/what did ALAC say)
