@Satish Babu <USEFUL REFERENCE> IDN Variant TLD Implementation: Recommendations and     Analysis @ https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/idn-variant-tld-recommendations-analysis-25jan19-en.pdf  I am inclined to think that it is atomicity of the variant set that is the crux rather than either all or none kind of integrity check. To my mind atomic implies a set of operations on the variant set also. - Dr. T V Gopal, Anna University, Chennai, INDIA
09:25:36 From Justine Chew to Everyone:
    Replying to "@Satish Babu <USEFUL..."

Atomicity is already incorporated in one of the 4 principles under Phase 1, Gopal, which is Integrity of the Set.

    Replying to "@Satish Babu <USEFUL..."

Phase 1 recommendations have already been approved by GNSO Council and have been sent to the ICANN Board for their consideration / adoption.
09:28:01 From Gopal Tadepalli to Everyone:
I suggest that we need to explore the ICANN Confluence Community Wiki.  SUGGESTION TO APF: A small team that works on culling our pertinent information from the ICANN Confluence Wiki with say 72 hours retrieval time may be created. Understandably, phenomenal text, audip and video analytics can happen as well if needed on the content. - Dr. T V Gopal, Anna University, Chennai, INDIA

Thank Justine for chipping in. <AFTER YOU RELAX> Please look into the possibility that the variant set is either all or none but there can be concurrent operations on each member of the set. This is a distributed system. Atomicity means that multiple operations can be grouped into a single logical entity, that is, other threads of control accessing the set will either see all of the changes or none of the changes. - Dr. T V Gopal, Anna University, Chennai, INDIA
