At-Large ISOC Chapter Roundtable

This is the inaugural roundtable meeting and workshop of the ISOC Chapter ALS and individual members within At-Large. The aim of the session is to identify each other, and to look at how the ISOC mission coincides with that of ICANN, so that ISOC Chapters can be more effective in both their ISOC and ICANN goals and expectations.

Presentation

1. Welcome and the aim of the meeting (Maureen Hilyard, PICISOC, incoming ISOC Board Director, APRALO) - Onboarding ppt slides. (10 mins)
2. Introductions - one lead member of each of the Chapters  (in person or remotely) - to quickly introduce members who are present - (10 mins)
3. Workshop : Meeting group will divide into 4-5 mixed groups - RALOs and ALS Experience 
   1. Discuss "What would help ISOC Chapters become more effective as ICANN ALSes?" (25 mins)
   2. Organise a rapporteur to report back to the main group (20 mins)
4. Planning for future meetings of the Chapters. (10 mins)
   1. Regularity? Chapter activity sharing? Speakers? Chairing?
5. Closure
