ICG Announces Update Regarding Community Comments and the ICG Forum The IANA Stewardship Transition Coordination Group (ICG) today announced that it has published its process for handling comments submitted to the ICG Forum. 1 May 2015 Board Approves ICANN Five-Year Operating Plan (FY16-FY20) On the 26 April 2015, the Board met in Los Angles, California, and approved the ICANN Five-Year Operating Plan (FY16-FY20). 1 May 2015 New gTLD Applicant and GDD Portal Update 30 April 2015 – The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) today announced that the first phase of its investigation into a data exposure issue in the New gTLD Applicant and GDD (Global Domains Division) portals has concluded. These portals contain information from applicants to ICANN's New gTLD Program and new gTLD registry operators. No other systems were affected. 30 April 2015 WEBINAR: Further Discussion on the CWG-Stewardship 2nd Draft Proposal for Public Comment The Cross Community Working Group to Develop an IANA Stewardship Transition Proposal for Naming Related Functions (CWG-Stewardship) released its 2nd draft proposal for public comment on 22 April. Following the opening of the public comment proceeding, the CWG-Stewardship Chairs hosted two briefing webinars on 24 April. 28 April 2015 Guidelines for Designing Script-Specific Label Generation Rules (LGR) for the Root Zone ICANN is releasing a set of documents that present an overview of the tasks of a Generation Panel as well as additional orientation and guidance. 27 April 2015 Maximal Starting Repertoire Version 2 (MSR-2) for the Development of Label Generation Rules for the Root Zone To support IDN labels in the root zone, the ICANN community, at the direction of the Board, undertook several projects to study and make recommendations on their viability and delegation.
