#4 Next Steps on New Initiatives:

I am eagerly looking forward to the survey results. However, we may have to rationalize some perspectives from the efforts such as:

      1. https://idnworldreport.eu/

      2. https://www.usenix.org/system/files/raid2019-chiba.pdf

      3. https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc4690 (Done in 2006 with many useful foundations for IDNs).

      • Dr. T V Gopal

      1. To be clear, item 4 of Next Steps on New Initiatives is limited to and relate to only the feasibility of a presenting the outcomes of the At-Large End User Survey on IDNs and nothing more.

It is not within the APF's mandate to participate in the development of that survey as a special project team has already been established for that purpose and the work of the team in developing that survey is already well under way. Therefore there is nothing for APF to rationalize insofar as item 4 is concerned.

  2. All APF members are invited to participate in the development/organising of any of the mentioned initiatives or projects. Please send your expressions of interest to join by email to At-Large Staff, specifying which initiative or project you are interested in contributing to.

    1. Justine Chew Many thanks for the clarifications. I will come back on this later.
