10) Proposed Goals and Outcomes: Content Guidelines (click here) | Capital Area Globetrotters along with ISOC DC and ICANN Wiki will be co-hosting the 3rd North America School of Internet Governance in Washington DC collocated with the IGF USA, the National/Regional IGF of the US. Since we will be hosting it, it is essential that the ALS from the Host city be one of the shadow partners to NASIG so we can see the mechanics of how to run a successful NASIG. Our annual outreach plan talks about the need for the future NASIG hosts to shadow the first NASIG to learn how the program runs and gain some best practices going forward. Since the NASIG will be run right before ICANN 61 there will be a number of Civil Society groups, university students, and Indigenous groups brought in for the NASIG many of which have never been to a School of Internet Governance and excited to learn more and to get more involved. This will be fertile grounds for outreach and to engage with them and to help create new ALSes. Goals and Objectives 1) Be aligned with our Outreach plan 2) Engage with other stakeholder groups and constituencies in the weeks coming up to the NASIG and at the NASIG for outreach and participation in NASIG. 3) Be an on-site resource to new people to learn about NARALO both through lightning talks at the event, providing mailcards, and be available to any fellow in attendance to speak about joining NARALO as an ALS or Unaffiliated. 4) Learn about the process of helping future NASIG events and the training needed to run a successful event in the future. 5) Outreach to others attending the ICANN meeting and at the North American Space that we are creating to gather all interested people to explain about At Large and ICANN. | ||||||||||||
