What is Global Stakeholder Engagement?

“The process by which an organization involves people who may be affected by the decisions it makes or can influence the implementation of its decisions.” – Wikipedia

 This definition embraces all aspects of outreach, communication and capacity building, and includes the shared burden between volunteers and staff.  The GSE team coordinates these activities and this framework describes our approach.

 Our engagement mission: To work with our stakeholders around the world making everyone affected by ICANN’s work aware of their rights and responsibilities and of how they can engage with the issues and policies that affect their future.
