1) Describe how the original Proposed Goals | During the Africa Internet Summit, AFRALO got represented in the AFRINIC Policy discussion and AFRINIC granted AFRALO an Booth which was managed by TIjani, Seun and I during the 4 days of the summit. There was an update that was given on AFRALO by Tijani on Friday 10th June. I was among the presenters at the summit where I presented about Mobile Applications. I also managed to engage with different organisations that had the potential of becoming an ALS. These potential members came to the AFRALO Booth. Fliers (Posters), ICANN Promotional materials (Pens, USB and Hand Bands) and cards were distributed to the members who came to the AFRALO Booth as they inquired more about AFRALO and ICANN. |
| 2) Additional information pertaining to this outreach event (optional): | The students from University of Botswana inquired how the youth and university students can be part of AFRALO and also get knowledge about ICANN. I reffered them to ICANN Learn.
I recommend that the during the next outreach, promotional materials on ICANN Learn be included among the promotional materials. |
