Trip Assessment Form

1) Describe how the original Purpose and Goals were accomplished:

The  original  goal and purpose of the SXSW  trip  was to engage the various technology organizations that attend SXSW about At Large and about ICANN In general. I requested literature about NARALO and At Large but only received information about NARALO itself in the brochures.  I also handed out USB drives that contained brochures from all the RALOS.

2) Describe how the original Outcomes were achieved:

I spoke about how At-Large provides news, key resources and interactive features for information sharing for individuals and end-user groups interested in ICANN and in shaping the future of the Internet. At Large represent the rights of Internet users from Canada, the US, and any its territories or protectorates. I explained how we represent community views in the bottom-up, consensus based,  multi-stakeholder ICANN policy development process. I talked about the importance of At Large and about NARALO and about how we represent the end user and how we fight for their rights. There was a lot of interest from among the people I talked to and I have a bunch of contacts to follow up with.
3) Date Completed:23-Mar-2015
4) Additional information pertaining to this outreach event (optional):

Here are the pictures from my trip to South by Southwest and some of the sessions I attended. If anyone is interested in any of the sessions I attended please feel free to reach out to me.
