Reglas de Procedimiento de LACRALO 

11.3.- Las autoridades de la Asamblea deben ser representantes de ALS acreditadas activas y serán electas en un proceso de votación directa de los candidatos que se inscriban para ocupar esos puestos en la misma Asamblea. Los candidatos se deberán nominar durante la Asamblea.

La determinación de quién presidirá y quién será el secretario de la Asamblea sera por simple mayoría (como cualquier votación durante la Asamblea)

11.4.- No podrán ser candidatos para estos cargos aquellos que sean candidatos a los cargos de liderazgo de LACRALO a ser elegidos durante esta Asamblea

11.7.-  Responsabilidades  del  Presidente  de  la  Asamblea

El  Presidente  deberá  dar  por  iniciada  y  por  terminada  cada  sesión  plenaria  de  la  Asamblea.  El  Presidente  dirigirá  las  deliberaciones,  se  encargará  de hacer cumplir este Reglamento, coordinará el orden en el uso de la palabra, someterá los asuntos a votación y anunciará las decisiones, así como determinará los puntos de orden y, ciñiéndose a este Reglamento, estará a cargo de controlar los procedimientos y mantener el orden. Cabe al Presidente establecer orden para dar  voz a cada miembro que quiera manifestarse. El tiempo asignado a tal fin a cada miembro debe ser igual.

Asimismo, en pos del buen uso del  tiempo disponible, el Presidente puede establecer el número máximo  de miembros con uso de la palabra  sobre un determinado tópico.

11.3. The assembly authorities shall be the representatives of active accredited ALSes and the candidates to hold those positions during the Assembly shall be elected by a direct voting process. 

Candidates shall be nominated during the Assembly. The chair and Secretary of the assembly shall be elected by simple majority of votes (like any vote during the Assembly) 

11.4 Candidates for LACRALO leadership positions to be elected during the Assembly shall not be entitled to hold positions in the Assembly.

11.7.- Duties  of  the  Chair  of  the  Assembly:  The  Chair  shall  start  and  adjourn  each  plenary  session  of  the Assembly. The Chair shall be responsible for leading the discussions, enforcing these Rules, coordinating the speakers ́ order to take the floor, putting an issue to vote, and announcing the decisions, as well as determining the  points  of  order  and,  pursuant  to  these  rules,  upholding  procedures  and  keeping  order.    The  Chair  shall determine  the  speakers ́order  to  take  the  floor  and  the  time  to speak  shall  be  the  same  for  all  of  them. Additionally,  and  for  the  sake  of  time,  the  Chair  may  establish  a  maximum  number  of  speakers  for  a  certain topic.
