ISOC India Trivandrum Chapter (ISOC-TRV) was officially chartered and approved as an ISOC Chapter on 6 Feb 2015. As the fifth ISOC Chapter in India, and the first in the state of Kerala, ISOC-TRV takes up issues relating to the Internet and its applications to society, particularly the technology, policy and benefit dimensions. Starting out with about 30 members, ISOC TRV presently has close to 70 members. The Founding Chair of ISOC-TRV is Satish Babu, presently the Vice Chair of APRALO and member of ICANN Nominating Committee (2014, 2015).
