At-Large Policy Session 1: The future of ICANN‘s mandate and the development of the DNS: Voices of the Next Generation!

This session includes former NextGen, Fellowship, and At-Large Summit III participants, who are currently actively involved in various constituencies across ICANN (At-Large, NCSG, CSG, SSAC, etc.) to discuss the future of the Internet from an ICANN policy but also technical perspective. The following questions will be discussed:

• Should ICANN’s mandate be adapted in terms of future developments in cyberspace e.g. influence of digital platforms?
• How need the DNS be changed to tackle future cybersecurity concerns e.g. cybercrimes and digital abuses?
• How can transparency and openness of PDP’s within ICANN be ensured and all interested stakeholders be pick up inclusively?
