At-Large ISOC Chapter Roundtable

Session Details: 

This is the inaugural roundtable meeting of the ISOC Chapter ALS and individual members within At-Large. The aim of the session is to identify each other, and to look at how the ISOC mission coincides with that of ICANN, so that we can be effective in both our ISOC goals and expectations as well as those of At-Large within ICANN. 

Agenda:

1. Welcome and the aim of the meeting (Maureen Hilyard, PICISOC, incoming ISOC Board Director, APRALO)

2. Introductions from one lead member of each of the Chapters represented at the meeting (in person or remotely) - 3 mins maximum

         a. Name of the Chapter, and any other members present

         b. Describe some of the activities that the Chapter has been involved in since Jan 2024 (either ISOC or ICANN related)

         c. Explain the purpose of the Chapter for joining ICANN - how does it achieve any specific goals for the Chapter?

         d. What involvement in At-Large of ICANN activities?

3. Planning for future meetings of the Chapters. 

         a. Regularity?

         b. Chapter activity sharing?

         c. Speakers?

         d. Other?

Session Details:

This session will provide an overview of At-Large activities at ICANN80 as well as a look at what to expect at ICANN81. Please note that this session will include reports from the Liaisons and from ALAC members on the sessions they participated in.
