Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL)

Montréal–Trudeau, is an international airport serving Montreal, Quebec, Canada, located on the Island of Montreal, 20 km (12 mi) from Downtown Montreal, approximately 25min from the Conference Venue,

Trudeau Airport is composed of three passenger terminals:

  • International Terminal
  • Domestic Canadian Terminal
  • États-Unis (USA) Terminal

Airport Transportation

Uber and Rideshare Service: Exit on the Departures or the Arrivals level. Head toward Door 6 on the Departures level or Door 20 on the Arrivals level.

Taxis: There is a taxi queue outside the Arrival Level of the terminal with plenty of drivers in Zone B. Taxi's in Montréal come in a variety of colors, and accept all major credit cards and Canadian dollars. Calculate your estimated taxi fare here.

Private Car Service: Pre-book a private car service between Montréal Trudeau Airport and your hotel through ICANN's contracted Destination Management Company (DMC).

Getting around the City

There are many public transportation options for getting around Montréal.

  • Rideshare services such as Uber operate legally in Montréal.
  • Taxis are abundantly available throughout the city.
  • Public metro (subway) transportation operates daily from 5:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. (1:30 a.m. on Saturdays). The average wait time between trains is eight minutes and three minutes during rush hour.
  • Montréal Underground Pedestrian Network used by over 500,000 people daily. This network includes 33 kilometers of walkways with 2,000 shops, restaurants and services.
