Comment: Final Board discussion topics

The ALAC will be meeting with the ICANN Board of Directors, scheduled for Tuesday, 10 February between 8:30 and 9:30 in the Padang Meeting Room

The deadline for ALAC questions to the Board is Friday, 30 January.

 

Topics for discussion:

  1. Are these meetings a satisfying, effective and productive mechanism for Board-ALAC interaction? From the perspective of many ALAC members, they are not. How can we better use the time to allow for a real exchange of ideas and support an enhanced collaboration framework?

  2. The Board NGPC and ALAC Subgroup on PICs: A model for future targeted interactions?

  3. PICs, freeze of GAC Category 1 TLDs and Contractual Compliance on public interest complaints (this item is tentative depending on events prior to Tuesday).

  4. Implementation of the recommendations from the second At-Large Summit.
