• The ccNSO council have been notified about the public comment periods for:
  • 29-2015: Next-Generation gTLD Registration Directory Services to Replace WHOIS Preliminary Issue Report
  • ICANN CEO Search Committee Announces CEO Candidate Criteria: Deadline for Application Submission is 20 September 2015
  • The IANA Stewardship Transition Coordination Group's (ICG) Interim Final Proposal to Transition the Stewardship of the IANA Functions opening on 31 July, with an end date of around 8 September. The ICG will hold webinars at the beginning of the public comment period to provide an overview of the proposal. 
  • The CCWG-Accountability also plans to publish the second version of its proposal for a 40-day public comment also beginning 31 July and ending 8 September 2015. 

• Katrina Sataki (Chair of the Guidelines Review Committee) has asked for volunteers for her committee to . Seven ccTLD members have answered the call. (.eu, .rs x2, .as, .gt, .cc, .gt)

• (July 21) A memorial notice has been placed on the ccNSO website in commemoration of Dr. Oscar Moreno who passed away July 14.  Dr. Moreno was member of the ccNSO Council from October 2007- until 2009.

• Council Chair notified council members of one ccWG member's procedural concern at the Paris meeting. The Jordan informed me that the deviation from the standard process had been discussed and agreed on at an earlier teleconference that for any areas of work that were not contentious, then the two readings over the two days would ensure consensus on these issues, as part of their Second Public Comment Report (NOT to finalise it in the proposal). It would save further discussion time in later phone meetings where consensus was evident. Their ability to make this internal change is in their Charter.
• (Buenos Aires) Thanks again to Byron for attending our joint ALAC/ccNSO meeting in BA -  late afternoon - not good timing for us or them. But appreciated his update on ccNSO decision-making and he touched on outreach activities.
