The standing joint AFRALO-AfrICANN meeting at ICANN meetings gathers the whole African ICANN community to discuss a hot topic at ICANN and come up with a common African position there upon. In Panama, the meeting will address the ICANN's efforts to make the WHOIS registrant data compliant with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).


After the adoption of the Temporary Specification and its entering into effect on 25 May, and the IPC & BC proposal for an accreditation model, what will be their effect on Internet end-users and especially in Africa.
