Yrjö Länsipuro previously served in this role since 2016 when the ALAC unanimously voted to appoint him as the first ALAC Liaison to the GAC.

As noted by former GAC Chair, GAC's key prioroty during this dialogue was public interest. The frameowrk does not fully meet the expectations of all parties concerned but represents a workable consensus for continued dialogue.
