In January  2021, Hadia El Miniawi was appointed as the and Justine Chew agreed to shadow ALAC Liaison to the GNSO . in preparation for appoingments to be made in advance of the ICANN#72 AGM 

In 2017, the ALAC re-appointed Cheryl Langdon-Orr as the ALAC Liaison to the GNSO for the period between the 2017 AGM to the 2018 AGM.
